With one of our directors based in the city, we purchased the upper-floor flat of a traditional city centre terrace with a view to refurbishment of the existing flat and a dormer extension above. A simple 2 for 1 deal with bags of design potential.
The precedent for such work was evident on the street so, planning was no issue and the project completed on time in 8 months. Light streams into the resulting 2-bedroom apartment while minimalist, modern fittings create a crisp, airy feel and residents enjoy views across the sparkling granite city.
For us, this project laid the groundwork for bringing together construction know-how, design and smart project choice that would underpin our operation as our projects stepped up in scale and complexity.
